Ari

Ari is an award-winning performer, writer, filmmaker and musician based in Los Angeles. Hailing from Northern California, he has 15+ years of professional experience in a variety of creative environments — from the Broadway stage to the silver screen. According to his mom, Ari came into the world making music, and he was soon belting with some of his favorite pop/rock artists of the day: Pat Benatar, Duran Duran and The Police. At the age of 4, Ari began classical piano lessons, opening up a new world of self-expression that would lead to acting, singing and so much more.

Ari brings enthusiasm, passion and ability to meet his students of all ages wherever they are in their musical journey — from total beginners to seasoned pros. Music should be fun (it’s called “playing” for a reason!), so Ari always aims to integrate a sense of discovery and joy while supporting students to reach their unique goals.

After receiving a degree in Theatre and Musical Theatre from Northwestern University, Ari moved to New York, where he spent the next several years building a successful career as an actor, writer and composer. He has performed with talents like Billy Porter, Darlene Love and Warren Carlyle; as well as Tony Award-winning theaters (Atlantic Theater Company, Chicago Shakespeare) and universities like Columbia and NYU.

Additionally, Ari loves to create his own work, which includes self-producing and composing original music (and a few parodies, here and there). He recently relocated to LA in order to further his artistic pursuits on the West Coast. In his spare time, Ari enjoys traveling abroad, hanging with his awesome tuxedo cat (Batman), and is a huge fan of all things outdoors.
