Jeramy
Jeramy is an accomplished bluegrass and clawhammer style banjo picker. He is very active in the California bluegrass community, attending local jams in Los Angeles, performing at festivals throughout the state, and taking first place at the Topanga Bluegrass Banjo Contest. His teaching philosophy is a mix of modern science-backed learning techniques and traditional folk methods, with a focus on learning how to play by ear. Jeramy believes bluegrass and old time music is for students of all ages and with any level of musical background. He will help you build skills and confidence to jump into jam circles and play with others. Having fun making music with others has always been Jeramy’s #1 priority.
Jeramy teaches bluegrass/Scruggs style banjo, clawhammer style banjo, and bluegrass/old time/folk acoustic guitar.
