Red Pelican is a first-class operation! Brian is a master of customer service who cares deeply about his students as well as his teachers. We receive weekly notes from our teacher, and also get check-ins from Brian himself.
I would give Red Pelican 6 stars if I could. Absolutely wonderful experience! I received a gift certificate for drum lessons from my girlfriend for Christmas – perhaps one of the best presents I have been given.
I’m so glad I found Red Pelican Music! We were visiting LA for a month and my 4 year old really wanted to learn the drums and guitar. I spoke to Brian at Red Pelican and he was so helpful. He gave me an intro to all the instructors and who he felt my son would be most happy with, and my son has been loving it!
Red Pelican has been a great experience from the start. Easy to connect. Super process to match my teenage son to an instructor and easy to arrange payment . . . I would recommend Red Pelican for any parent who is looking for quality, reliable music lessons.
Simply superb! Brian was amazing – he spent so much time answering all of my questions with the utmost patience. I was impressed with the way he really tries to get to know your musical taste and how he made me feel instantly comfortable, like we had been friends for years!
I can’t say enough about my experience so far… I emailed on a Sunday morning about purchasing a gift certificate for a friend interested in guitar lessons. I figured being a Sunday the response time would be at best next afternoon. On the contrary…Brian responded via email within 30 minutes and then a phone call an hour later. He was patient and very informative!
Brian has created the go-to place for excellent music lessons in LA. Ethan has been my teacher and is dedicated, thoughtful and just a great person to spend time with and learn from. I highly recommend the whole team.
I’ve tried many times to learn an instrument, and many times I’ve sputtered out after considering how tough classes and practice would be. Red Pelican made it easy to change my pattern and I’m now on my way to being a ukulele master! Ok, so maybe not a master, but at least a passable instrumentalist. If you’ve never been able to stick with an instrument, I highly recommend you try Red Pelican Music!
This is the type of business that makes you forget that you’re dealing with a business. From the initial selection of instructors, to the lesson follow-up. Everything was personalized and professional. I will definitely be recommending Red Pelican to anyone looking for lessons.
Everything about this company is really wonderful. . . very accommodating to your needs and requirements in matching you with a teacher. And they really do try to match you with the perfect instructor. They have so many different types of backgrounds and personalities!
I filled out the online form and within minutes Brian called to find the right teacher for me, that would also fit into my busy schedule. He paired me with Sebastien, who was awesome all around. . . Super nice guy, super friendly, with a great understanding of all different genres of music. . . I am truly happy to have had such a great and humbling experience with this company.
I received piano lessons in a set of four as a gift. Brian, the director of music is the nicest person and even called me to ask many questions about my previous knowledge of piano. I picked an instructor to teach me, Cassie, who was a wonderful instructor! Very kind and patient. I will defiantly re-new my lessons.
I sent Brian at Red Pelican a message via the website and quickly heard back from him. After chatting he sent me profiles of a couple of cool music teachers with their availability and locations. I then chose to sign up with lessons with Hubie. All of the logistical stuff was awesome and a total breeze. Think personal concierge at the Wynn in terms of customer service.
