Scotty Bramer is a guitarist, composer, musical artist, and educator from Los Angeles, California. Since graduating from USC’s Thornton School of Music in 2011, he has performed and toured with numerous musicians and artists in SoCal and around the country. Scotty has also played for countless weddings and special events as a solo guitarist, leader, and sideman. He has led his own trio for 11+ years, and has recently been performing and recording his original music for a new exciting artist project titled “Bodhisattva.”
Scotty has been passionate about music since a young age, and loves to teach and encourage others to pick up the guitar. He has been teaching since 2009, and has taught hundreds of students since then. Scotty has worked with all skill levels and age ranges. He specializes in teaching jazz guitar and improvisation and also covers a wide range of other styles including rock, blues, pop, classical, and more. In lessons, he covers technique, music theory, songs, and aural skills. Scotty strives to help his students cultivate the joy and creativity that lives within, and inspire them to express themselves on the guitar.
