Merve

Merve (pronounced “mare-vay”) is a violin and piano teacher, performer, and audio creator originally from Istanbul, Turkey. She studied at the Istanbul Technical University Turkish Music State Conservatory, focusing on both classical and Turkish music.

As a performer, she has appeared with various orchestras, in solo recitals, and at music festivals. She also attended masterclasses, including CAKA in Dubrovnik, Croatia, where she performed with internationally recognized violinists. She is a co-founder of the EVA String Quartet, an all-female ensemble that performed both classical and Turkish music in concerts, festivals, and commercial projects.

She has been teaching violin and piano for over a decade. Working with students of all levels and ages, she has prepared many for Royal Academy of Music exams.

Additionally, she holds a master’s degree in Sound Design from the Academy of Art University. Her creativity has contributed to audio projects for film, live performance, and recordings, with credits listed on IMDB. Merve currently assists a Grammy-nominated composer while continuing her career as an educator, performer, and audio creative. She enjoys sharing the knowledge gained from both the performing and audio world to guide her students as they explore music and develop their skills.
